The Whooping Cough has recently been infecting the people of Texas and is very contagious. Doctors claim that the cause is the low rate of  immunizations.

This year The Whooping Cough has had a major breakout and might even break a 50-year old record. “It’s Outrageous!” Mrs. Julie Wolfe, mother of four, commented, “ Two babies have died already this year and being a mother myself that worries me.” This made me think about how many people this could affect if the problem isn’t solved soon.

The Whooping Cough (Bordetella Pertussis) is portrayed like the common cold,  many parents assume that what their child has is nothing, but sometimes they have a major illness that could kill if not treated. “Children are dying out there because they can’t get immunized until they are 2 months old,” Julie Wolfe states, “someone needs to fix this problem and fix it fast.” You can catch the Whooping Cough by it transferring  from one being to another.

So be alert if you have a runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, watery eyes, a mild fever, and/or a cough. Hopefully, the physicians of Texas fix this problem soon before we lose more citizens to the Whooping Cough.
