Do you know what a Chigger is? One of your friends or family probably got ’em before. These little mites are actually Arachnids (You can kind of tell because they look like ticks). These creatures live in grass fields, forests, parks, and in gardens (if you’re growin’ wheat grass or something you better be careful). These creatures are very tiny but they do not burrow in your skin or drink blood (They’re not really like ticks), they actually drink fluids in skin cells. If you actually want to have these creatures, you can get them by wearing tight shorts and walking in a very grassy field that’s pretty close to a water source. If you oftenly wear tight clothing you should consider wearing some loose clothing, because chiggers like to attach to place covered by tight clothing. After coming home from a day in a field or a forest take a shower because that can help remove chiggers before they attach to the skin. Tons of chiggers like to live on weeds, grass, and other forms of vegetation (like I said they live in gardens). Chiggers like to bite a number of small animals like turtles, snakes, birds, and smaller mammals (like some dogs or cats). If you get chiggers you can get rid of them by taking a hot shower and scrubbing yourself with lots of soap or use chiggerex to help. Now if you intrested in chiggers after you’ve read this article and want to find chiggers… You can’t, chiggers can’t be seen with a naked eye you need to get a microscope and try to find a leaf that can possibly have a chigger on it. If you’re now scared of chiggers, you shouldn’t be chiggers don’t carry diseases at all and their bites may itch or actually hurt (not the hurt that will put you in agony just the simple stinging feel). Hope you thought this article was “mitey” (bad pun) fine!
