On Friday, January 24th, there was no school because of “icy rain”. Some roads and high ways were closed, many people didn’t get to work. There was also many wreaks. Texas does not do well with sleet.

Everyone is asking “What is up with the weather?” One day its 56 degrees and the next day its 27 degrees. This is because the cold front that came in. The reason there was so many wreaks is because of the high climate Texas has, Texans aren’t used to the “icy rain”. The highest its been in San Antonio on this day was 85 degrees in 1971. The lowest was 15 degrees in 1963. The highest it got this year was 63 degrees. The lowest this year was 22 degrees.

On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday it was bright and sunny, up in the 70’s and low 80’s  but on Tuesday it was threatening to sleet again. All it did was be cold. Since those days, the spring underneath has been showing, so things are brightening up.
