The Statue of Liberty today

Can it be true, are the monument that are most popular being destroyed? Weather has been bad this winter, and we only thinking about keeping each other warm. So right now we are starting to lose the monuments that have been here for years.

The monuments that are weak, because of the weather are the Colosseum, the Temple of Epicurean Apollo, the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, the Statue of Liberty, and the Sphinx. Each of the monuments is damaged badly, just because of the weather alone. Who knows what else is happening to these old, popular places that have been around for years? People many think that this is not true, that the monuments still have many years to come down the road. But if this weather keeps up, I don’t know what to believe anymore.

“Anything on Earth that is man-made or sticking up will be attacked by the elements. Atmospheric forces will take their toll,” Andrews said. Which is true, we don’t know when these monuments will lose their life because not everything lives for a long time, even when we take great care of it. Life is short, even for nonliving things.

We can lose these amazing things. So I would at least try to go see them soon, while you can. It’s not like they can live forever and we also don’t live forever too.
