Hidden Forest Lock Down

On Tuesday, March 4, 2014 there was a two hour lock down at Hidden Forest Elementary School. The reason being was there was a domestic violence about three houses down from Hidden forest. The man and women got into a fight and the lady was standing outside with a gun to her head threatening to kill herself or hurt others.

 

As 5-10 cop cars, a big police van, a firetruck, and an ambulance surrounded the scene quickly and the school. All the kids were terrified as they went on a hard lockdown. Younger kids began to cry because they didn’t know what was happening. The police had the whole street blocked off so that no one or any cars could pass through. People couldn’t even get home until the scene was safe.

News reporters were everywhere trying to see what they could find out about this tragedy. parents waited eagerly to get their children. No one except for the police were able to get in or out of the school.(except for the police) Students were escorted to and from their classes because somewhere in gym or at lunch.  This is a very scary situation the should never happen again. Thank God she didn’t and she is still alive and the agreement system was able to get the situation under control.
