The Charger Classic Wrestling Competition is a traditional tournament that is put on every year. The event will take place on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at Churchill in the basketball gym. Wrestling Coach Brian Hawkins has high hopes for the wrestlers.

“We are feeling confident,” Hawkins said. “We have a few key varsity guys out this week due to injuries, but we have had excellent practices all week. We feel prepared, and we expect to do very well.” By Tommie Gaitan
