Have you heard the news? ‘Catching Fire started filming this September 2012, in Atlanta. But unfortunately we have to wait until November 22, 2013, which is when the movie comes out on theaters.
What is ‘Catching Fire’ about? It tells the story of a 16 year old girl, Katniss Everdeen, and how she fights to the death in the 75th annual Hunger Games. The main characters of the movie are, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, Finick Odair, and Johanna Mason. Katniss will be played by Jennifer Lawrence, Peeta will be played by Josh Hutcherson, Finick will be played by Sam Claflin, and Johanna will be played by Jena Malone, so be ready! A lot of people can’t wait to watch the movie, like Samantha Zarate (8), she said, “ I am excited to watch ‘Catching Fire’ because the first movie left me wanting more and I love the characters, so I am excited for ‘Catching Fire’.” Some people are excited, but they are really disappointed because it comes out until 2013. Jacely Garcia (grade) said, “I am disappointed because catching fire comes out until 2013. We have to wait more and after the first movie you want to see more.”
