End of Year FUN for 8th Graders

As many should know, the eighth grade field trip is on Tuesday May 21. All those who have qualified to go will be having fun at Time Warner Park.

Joseph Hernandez (8) said, “I believe many eighth graders will be going on the field trip because its fun and their friends will be there.” There’s a very positive outlook on the eighth graders going on this field trip according to this statement.

“I think it will be fun because school is almost over as well as it the trip being to Time Warner Park,” said Manuel Moke (8). Many think that the park will be fun and are greatly looking forward to it. Hope to see you there!

NJHS, also known as National Junior Honor Society is not easy to get into. To make it into NJHS you have to have maintained a 90 or above average, have good conduct etc. Congratulations to everyone who made it in. This year the 8th graders are having their first trip to Austin pretty soon with NJHS. A couple of fellow members of NJHS were questioned about the upcoming event.

Rebecca Archer (7) was asked how she felt about only the 8th graders going to Austin.“I feel like some 7th graders are mature and responsible enough to go to Austin.”

Victoria Flores (7) was also asked a series of questions and she exclaimed, “I’m actually excited for them to go to Austin because next year I get to go and have just as much fun!”

Have a safe, fun, and exciting trip to Austin. We’ll see you when you get back!!!

Swim Team Season

We all can’t wait for summer to be here! We also can’t wait to go swimming, or swimming on a team. You may not know it’s the swim team season and a lot of us can’t wait for it to start.
When asked, if he enjoys swim team, Sam Irizarry (6) he had exclaimed, “Yes I do I like it because I think it’s really fun to do.” Mia Retault (6) says, “I like swim team because you get to see all your friends, but I like competing more because it’s exciting to see all your competition and just swim!”
Noah Paveglio (6) and Griffin Cordy (6) both like swim team because, “It’s really fun and it’s a great workout!” Their first swim meet is June 1st. For now swim team is meeting every day after school except for Thursday, and it’s from 5 to 8.
If you love swimming, then you should try the Regency swim team. Who knows, you may even like it.
