The Famous 6th Grade Skate Party

Of course it’s time for the sixth grade skate party. The sixth grade skate party is a night for the sixth graders to go out and have fun skating.

Sarah Arnold (6) said, “I am definitely going to the skate party.”

Sixth graders are really looking forward to skating with all their friends. Alexia Reyes (6) said, “My favorite part I think will be that my friends are going, and that we are going to have a great time together.”

Sixth graders are heading to Rollercade in school buses at 4:30 p.m. Food is not provided so bring your money. Of course there is a DJ playing some super cool jams and there are also really cool games there to. Also some 6^th grade teachers will be there to. These teachers are going to chaperone, and get their groove on. Sadly, all fun comes to an end and this fun ends at 7:30 p.m.

Of course not everyone can go to this sixth grade skate party but the ones who can, hopefully you have a great time.

Last but not least Garner’s 6^th graders would like to thank our PTA for hosting this wonderful event.

iPhone6 is finally here

Many kids want the best smart phone when they start middle school. The new iPhone6 and the iPhone6 plus just debuted on September 19.It has faster processors and better cameras, so now people can enjoy taking selfies a little bit more.

“I think that the new iPhone is pretty cool because I heard that it had good things,” Joanna Estrada (7) said. Kids are very excited about this new iPhone. You can even get it in gold, silver, and space gray. People can get it in any Apple store and it costs about $500 to $700 depending on the version.

Some kids are not really interested on the new phone. “Im not going to buy it because it’s too big and I don’t like it,” Silvestre Godinez (7) said. There are some issues with the iPhone, and maybe that’s why some people don’t want it. They found this bending problem. When you try to bend the iPhone it will bend completely. A video went viral because it proves this surprising rumor.

In conclusion, the iPhone6 and iPhone6 plus just debuted a couple of days ago and students will talk about it for months. People may or may not like it, but this IPhone is very improved and expensive!
