Fredrick Jones(7) works with 2nd period theater arts class, and thinks that the news is important to watch.

Do you know what is going on in the Middle East? Do you know we’re voting for president in November? Do you know about West Nile disease? Most students don’t know. Is it important? “Yes it is important because it can effect your future and your family’s future” said Coach Dooley.

A lot of students don’t watch the news. Joshua Leija (7) says, “No, I do not watch the news because most of it is boring.”

Do you think there should be a news station for kids, and tell us what is going on but not in full detail? “It is important to watch the news because you need to know what is happening in our environment.” said Mrs. Rodriguez. Make sure to watch the news because you don’t know everything. Like they say, you learn something new every day.
