Flawless

Yes, typically teenagers hate seeing photoshopped models on the cover of magazines, such as Seventeen magazine. Well, turns out 75,000 girls have a problem with it according to the article in Huffington Post “One School Girl’s Protest of Seventeen Magazine–Now 75,000 Strong”. A teenager named Julia Bluhm petitioned for teen magazines to get the photoshopped girls off of the covers stating that it “hurts girls”. She thinks that young girls looking up to photoshopped models is dangerous because they try emulate an unnatural looking model.

Well, in my belief I think that the photoshopped pictures should be on the cover because if you see a girl with flaws that you are supposed to look up to, how is that appealing? If people have a problem with that, then don’t buy the magazine. Editors and readers want someone so flawless, that people are mesmerized by it. If you want to see someone that looks like you without any touch ups, take on modeling for yourself.
