Summers are great for the first half of your vacation but after awhile you can get pretty bored. There are many ways to beat boredom but one easy, very fun way is to get involved in a summer camp. There are many around and in San Antonio that can make your summer one to remember.

One of these is Camp Champions. It is  located in the hill country of Central Texas. They offer one, two, or three week sessions for kids 6-18. A student at JMS describes this camp as “A challenging camp that is a total blast and is very rewarding. Although this camp is a bit pricey, it’s totally worth it”.

Another  great camp one that goes by the name Camp Tejas. It is a non profit Christian organization that has activities such as the challenge course, hayride, climbing walls, and campfires. It is a spiritual experience that can perk up any boring day and maybe help you make some new friends too.

And last but not least, T bar M is a great and affordable way to light up your summer and stay active. They have locations at Lake Travis and New Braunfels to bring adventure closer to you. It is a Christian sports and adventure camp that has much to offer. They are also a non profit organization that offers Day Camp, Sports Camp, Camp Travis, and many more. One student says “It’s a sports camp that is a total blast for anyone who likes to get physical” and she encourages you to give it a try.

There are many camps to get involved in and even if they don’t involve as much activity, they are still a lot of fun and you might learn something too. Whether you’re bored or just looking for a blast, summer camps are the way to go!
