Broadway Shows in San Antonio

You may think of Broadway as a theater dream that only comes true in New York City, but many Broadway shows premiere and perform all over the nation and in many countries across the world.  Below are some of the shows that are coming to San Antonio in 2013-2014.

The Addams Family:  This musical is an adaption of the television series, The Addams Family. This musical is about Wednesday and her boyfriend, Lucas.  Lucas’ family comes over to the Addams’ house for dinner.  After being embarressed by their families, Lucas and Wednesday announce their engagement.  Watch the musical to see how their families react and how it ends.  This is being performed from May 7-12, 2013

Flashdance:  This musical is about a young woman with much potential.  Alex wants to be a professional dancer and attend a prestigious dance school.  But can she get over her fears first?  This is being performed at the Majestic Theater from June 18-23, 2013.

Peter and The Starcatcher:  This musical is about Peter Pan and the lost boys before the famous story of Peter Pan.  Come see the adventures of Peter and Molly as they try to protect the queen’s treasure!  This is being performed at the Majestic Theater from October 22-27, 2013.

Ghost: The Musical:  This musical starts out with two young lovers.  Because Sam doesn’t express his feelings like Molly does, she doubts his love for her.  When Sam dies in a tragic accident,  Molly is inconsolable.  But will death stop the lovers from being apart?  This is being performed at the Majestic Theater from January 21-26, 2014.

Wicked:  This musical is about Oz before the Dorothy comes along.  Instead, it’s about Elphaba, the future (wicked?) Witch of the West.  Come share in her experiences that shape Oz for better or worse.  This is being performed at the Majestic Theater from March 12-30, 2014.

Evita:  This musical is about the life Eva Peron, an Argentine political leader.  This musical shows her experiences, explains her motives, and shares in her triumphs.  This musical is showing at the Majestic Theater from April 29-May 4, 2014.

Come see anyone of these musicals for a performance that you won’t forget!
