Johnson’s Varsity volleyball team came back from two straight district losses to beat the Lee Volunteers last Friday. The Lady Jags turned up the heat to dominate in the first three matches, shutting down the Volunteers.

Junior Carnae Dillard led the team offensively with 11 kills, and fellow teammate, junior Ayssa Garcia, kept a strong defense with 18 digs. With the win, the Jags now have a 4-2 district record and currently, stand in third place in the NEISD.

If the Jags can keep their wins consistent, the fans will flock to see them take on MacArthur on Tuesday at 5:30 at Littleton Gym.
