Of course with Halloween right around the corner you may be planning on trick or treating treating, going to a party or maybe just staying in. Another fun way to get ready for Halloween is watch a few scary movies with some friends. Here are some terrifying films , that are sure to make you scream.
“I like watching the “Chuckie” series. All of them are interesting to me. They’re comical yet gory, which is something different from other scary movies. You don’t really see those a lot. I think its pretty scary though because just when you think Chuckie is dead, he ends up coming back to life. Those types of films have scared me ever since I was young,” senior Brandon Reveles said.
Modern day thriller movie goers also enjoy watching the classics around this haunted holiday.
“I used to watch the old school Freddy Krueger movies. It was exciting to see Freddy appear out of the walls and transform into different things. Its creepy and different. I used to always have nightmares after watching his movies,” senior Michael Marinos said.
If you’re not into played out, predictable horror movies you might be into something a little more different than the everyday fright flick.
“The Hills Have Eyes was terrifying. After seeing it once, I’ll never watch it again. The thought of being in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by mutated people is really creepy. Don’t ever watch it by yourself,” senior John Pitt said.
