The junior vs. senior powder puff is the annual Johnson event where it gives the girls a chance to fill the guys shoes in a flag football game.

“It was really fun getting to participate and it is a good experience to play football since there is really no other chance for us to,” senior Karlee Fagan said.

The seniors looked to continue their winning ways and stay undefeated while the juniors tried to end that streak and get a win of their own. This game was a fairly low scoring one and there was only 5 total touchdowns. For the juniors Madison Amaro scored and then Nia Stallings had an exciting touchdown run with only seconds left in the first half.

“I loved the experience of getting to play football and we won so it made it that much better,” senior Lauren Johnson said.

Fagan had a good game and was responsible for two of the three senior touchdowns but on the throwing side. The seniors yet again were able to hold off the juniors and acquired another one in the win column.

“Getting the win made this occasion even more fun especially since I got to play an important role in getting the win and also getting to play with my friends,” Fagan said.

The final score was 18-16 going in the seniors favor. Both teams had a chance to win this game but Fagan’s arm was just too much for the juniors to handle along with some good touchdown grabs from Madi Gordon and Katie Gover.  It was overall a close contest with a slim win from the seniors ending this year’s powder puff game.

“I would definitely recommend playing if you are a junior or senior,” Johnson said
