Johnson springs into football

The Johnson football team is getting ready to play in the annual spring football game.  Players are looking forward to the opportunity to get back onto the field.

“Spring football gives us the opportunity to get better for next season and show the coaches our improvement,” sophomore Dominik Metz said.

Spring football is practices that last all of May and end with a game. This year’s spring football game at the end of May.

“The practices not only help us get ready for the game, but they also help us get ready for next season,” Metz said.

Spring football allows the players to prepare for the following year, hoping for a well around season.

Players are looking forward to the opportunity to get back onto the field, and get some more practice in before the school year ends.

“It will be fun to get back onto the field and hit a couple people,” freshman Abraham Garcia said.

Many the players are looking forward to improving their game and the play of their team next season.

“I think we have the potential to improve and maybe even finish undefeated,” Garcia said.
