“Overall I think we have had a pretty good season this year. There was some games that were closer than we would have liked and we have had some tough games that we should have won,” junior Joseph Haight said.

The Jags look to carry their recent success into the postseason, where they will try and win it all. As of now they Jags are still in a close race for 2nd place in the district. They will know their seed after they play their final game of the regular season.

“We’ve been winning a lot of games lately and I think when we take on the upcoming teams in the playoffs, we will be able to carry our success over to the next games,” Haight said.

The final regular season game for varsity baseball will be this Friday, May 1st against the MacArthur Brahmas where the Jags will look to win the final game of the regular season. The game is scheduled for 4:30 pm at Blossom Athletic Center.
