Need to see some Jag action this season? You’ll need to go online

Students and fans who want to attend football games this year must purchase tickets online.

Around 4,000 to 5,000 people typically attend an NEISD sporting event each weekend, depending on the sport and the venue. Of course, this year, NEISD is limiting the number of attendees.

“Masks are mandatory and we are only able to have 50% capacity in the venues,” NEISD athletics director Parker Kelly said.

According to the NEISD website, all tickets for each week’s games will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. prior to that week’s games and will be available for purchase throughout the week.

Presale football ticket prices are $7 for adult general admission and $3 for students.  All tickets purchased after 5:00 p.m. on the day of the game will be $8 and volleyball tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.

The cost of tickets may change depending on the sport and that can be found at https://www.neisd.net/Page/2881.

“With the protocols in place set up by UIL and as long as protocols and guidelines are followed, yes it should be safe,” Kelly said. “This year, we expect everyone to follow all guidelines so that everyone can be and feel safe.”
