Squid Game is on track to be Netflix’s most watched show but is best in small doses

Squid Games has been rising in popularity drastically with the show earning 96% on Rotten Tomatoes and is currently Netflix’s most-watched show in 90 countries.

I heard about Squid Games through Youtube and decided to watch the show. Let’s just say I wasn’t able to get past episode 2. So here’s your review from someone who has a harder time watching scary movies.

The show has great actors, and I mean great, but if you’re thinking about watching keep in mind it is in Korean. You can watch the show in English, but the speech and the mouths of the actors don’t really line up.

Aside from that, the set of the show is phenomenal and really sets you on edge with the fun, brightly colored assemblage contrasting with the dark reality of the show.

The actors really do a great job at conveying what it feels like to be in this situation and showing the terror and madness of it all. Because of this, I would say this show isn’t bingeable for the faint of heart.

Honestly, I probably won’t be finishing, but only because of how on edge it gets me. But if you love scary movies or just want something to watch this show is sure to get your heart pounding.
