The JROTC Rifle team is an optional opportunity for students, regardless of whether or not they are involved in JROTC, to be able to shoot different types of rifle guns at multiple targets in order to earn points in competitions that actually contribute toward our school.
JROTC commemorated the tenth anniversary of 9/11 with a Patriot's Day Ceremony on campus. Local military and public servants attended the event that was organized by the students at Johnson High School.
Two teams of four cadets were recognized for winning the 2011 Army JROTC Leadership and academic Bowl (JLAB) at George Mason University in Washington DC.
Johnson's JROTC student cadets represented themselves and Johnson extremely well this weekend at the Central Catholic High School Military Skills Meet.
