Student Style

Style has been around for long time.  Believe it or not the Romans use to have big capes, as some might say, but actually they are called tunics.

In the 1800s, which was the era of western styles and cowboys, people use to wear bandannas, so when a strong sand storm comes they would pull it over their face  to keep the sand out of their mouth and nose.  They would use chaps that would protect them from brush such as thorns and poison plants.

Now, in the present, many people are into cargo pants and cargo shorts and sometimes jeans.

Gustavo Lozano says, “I like wearing Jordan’s for shoes, Aeropostale for shirts, and jeans for pants.”

Many styles in the 1800s are still in style today.  In south Texas and eagle pass, you will find that most Hispanic people dress like cowboys.  They wear cowboy boots, thick heavy jeans, a cowboy hat, and a long sleeve shirt.

Many students wear their own styles on free dress Friday, like wearing a black shirt, converse, and jeans.

“I like to wear a polo shirt, cargo shorts, and my vans to school,” Gregory Garcia said.

“I like wearing converse, a band shirt, and my skinny jeans,” Anna Sanchez said.

Cargo shorts and Cargo pants speak for themselves.  They were invented for more pocket space, so more things can fit in their pockets.

Many people have different styles of shoes, pants, and shirts.  Some people even wear hats, gold chains, bracelets and more, so as the earth turns, time goes by, and history is made.  Styles will not be forgotten, for every day holds something new for us.
