Apple’s new ipods

You may have heard about Apples new iPods recently and I’m just here to inform you a little about them. Steve Jobs unveiled the new lineup of iPods at a keynote speech on September 1st. The lineup includes the new iPod  Nano with multi touch, the new iPod shuffle with buttons, you still have voice over, and the added genius mixes, and last, but not least the new iPod touch with a front and back facing camera, facetime, HD video recording and editing, the IOS 4 software, retina display, and the Apple A4 processor. These systems are all very much different, but all of them can do the one same thing, that is to be able to play songs which was the original purpose of the iPod.

Apple totally changed the iPod Nano by adding a touch screen and a clip to it. They took away its video recording capabilities, the video playback, and game features too. This was a bit of a letdown for me, but I like the small size and touchscreen. This starts at $149 for the 8GB and $179 for the 16GB version.

The new iPod shuffle was now upgraded to make it look more like the 2nd generation, but added genius mixes and voice over. It also has multiple play-lists and a clip like the Nano. One of the biggest things about this is the small size and also has a smaller price now just 2GB for $49.

Last, but not least is the iPod touch. This iPod has the new apple A4 processor the new cameras on the front and the back and it also has the IOS 4 software loaded on it. The iPod touch 4th generation also has a  HD pixel display known by Apple as retina display. This means that the game play and video content can be in HD and you can play all the apps that were first exclusively for the iPhone 4. They bumped up the price of the 8GB by $30 so now the iPod touch starts at $229 for the 8GB, $299  for the 32GB, and $399 for the 64GB edition. These are all very cool and Apple is known for their uniqueness and their durability. Hope you guys can check them out for yourself thanks for reading. Click HERE for the Apple iPod link.
