Sand Animation

Every single artist has their  own way of expressing themselves. They can make live 3D models out of wax or clay and some artists sketch or paint. But a special girl from Ukraine uses sand.

Sand Art / Animation is produced when you apply sand to a base and create images that tell a story. Sand animation artists often use an overhead or light box  to aid people that watch their stories. They don’t use special tools or anything–they only use their hands and fingers. Surprisingly, they work pretty fast, but it still comes out amazing. If you want to see a video of Kseniya Simonova, the girl in the picture above, or learn more about her, then visit this site. http://simonova.tv/en/.

In the video below, you will see Kseniya Simonova performing her most popular video on Ukraine’s Got Talent. In the beginning you will see how she draws out the scene and how things were before World War II; it also shows the war starting and than how it affected the whole world.
