City Year Highlight – Aimee Sunderlin

Aimee Sunderlin serves because she believes every child has the right to a quality education. Recently graduated from Trinity University with Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology and Communication, Aimee is proud and excited to bring her experiences to Krueger Middle School as a City Year corps member.

Aimee Sunderlin came from Pflugerville, TX. She went to Trinity college in San Antonio, TX. Instead of having City Year in school like we do, Aimee Sunderlin had a program called PALs. PALs is when the older student mentor the younger ones. When we asked her what she liked about Krueger she replied, “My favorite thing about Krueger is definitely the students, it’s great to see them and interact with them every day.”
