83rd Oscar Nominees Announced

Monday, the nominees for the 83rd Academy Awards were announced. Both big budget pictures and small independent features are spotlighted in this even ballot. A few favorites were apparent: Black Swan, True Grit, and 127 Hours all received multiple nominations.

James Franco and Anne Hathaway are to host the event on February 27, 2011.
