Thrilling Win Puts Vols at 2-0

Taking their second win in a row in exciting fashion, the Vols beat Southwest 28-21 at Heroes Stadium.

Quarterback Gabriel Rangel threw for323 yards and two touchdowns. He threw a 20 yarder to Matthew McCracken in the last 20 seconds of the game to clinch the victory.

Krystian Harrison caught an amazing 63-yard touchdown early on to put the Vols on the scoreboard.

In the third quarter, Josh McMillen ran the ball in for six to take a 21-7 lead.

The fourth fumble recovery of the night for the Vols, this one by Jonathan Sanchez, set up the winning play. The Vols defense held the Dragons to 170 total yards.
