Nothing Fishy About This Seafood Restaurant

Shrimp enchiladas w/mashed potatoes and corn

Rating? B+

Should you go? If you like seafood AND Mexican food, this is your place.

For a new, delicious spin on seafood, try J. Anthony’s Seafood Cafe. Located on 7210 NW Loop 410 on Culebra road, this restaurant has been serving San Antonio for more than 30 years.

The restaurant offers a variety of tasty seafood. To get a multiple fish fix, order the seafood enchilada stuffed with shrimp, octopus, and crab, all topped with gooey melted cheese. For the less daring, ask for the shrimp enchilada (shown left.)

Fish and oysters w/rice and cole slaw

Another great dish is the Seafood Platter, which consists of two fish filets, jumbo oysters, and two sides (shown right.) A huge catfish filet can be ordered on the side for an extra $3.

Other side dishes include: crab cakes, jumbo shrimp, jumbo oysters, tostadas, quesadillas, and, for the meat lover, chicken tenders. Most dished come with two sides, such as spicy cajun rice, steamed vegetables, corn, mashed potatoes and cole slaw.

And don’t forget to try the fresh-squeezed lemonade at one of the few restaurants that still use actual lemons for their lemonade, not limes.

For quality seafood at a reasonable price, come on over to J. Anthony’s for great seafood. To order online or sign up for their mailing list, visit: http://www.janthonys-seafood.com/
