Paris Jackson: “I’m a Different Person”

Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson became an icon to young girls across the nation when she spoke at her father, Michael Jackson’s, memorial service in 2009. Dressed in an adorable black-and-white dress and clutching a small handbag, her face wretched with pain, she let the world know what a wonderful father Michael was and how much she loved and missed him.

It’s been a year now. Paris may only be 13 years old, but she’s starting to discover who she is – and isn’t.

In her first press interview, the daughter of the late King of Pop, says: “I’m a different person. I don’t want to be titled as just Michael Jackson’s daughter. I want to be thought of as just Paris Jackson.” Clearly, Paris is starting to come out of her shell that has been hidden behind those famous veils for so long.

Not that her father isn’t an influence, but Paris says she wants to be an actress. Videos that were uploaded to YouTube last year definately capture this aspiring actress’s flare for drama. So don’t expect any moonwalking from Paris. But it’s clear, from what numerous family members have reported, that Paris will someday be a star.
