STEM Prepares Gives Young Engineers a Head Start

This past Saturday February 18, STEM Academy held their 2 Annual Engineering Festival for all incoming elementary students getting ready for middle school.

It was a sensation across the gym. At separate stations, kids learned how to build rockets, airplanes, and foil boats. The “STEMbots” were also there showcasing their robots to the children.

The festival was from 11-1 p.m. They also gave the kids lunch, consisting of  a hot dog, chips and a cup of punch.

For the second year in a row the Game Truck also was on the campus.

The Festival was a hit and the STEM Academy is already making plans for next years Engineering Festival.
