On February 24, two culinary teams and two mystery basket participants competed against other culinary students in Corpus Christi. The culinary teams consisted of three team members each and faced off against 20 teams from Region V FCCLA.
Teams had to prepare and plate menus provided for them. One of the teams had to use a gas grill to cook on due to lack of space on the stove. Both teams placed in the top 6, placing 5th and 6th.
