STEM Students Place at Regional Fair
/Four STEM students competed and placed in the senior division of the Alamo Regional Science and Engineering Fair at St. Mary’s University on March 5
Over six hundred regional students competed in 12 different categories ranging from Chemistry to Zoology. At the regional event, each student presented their research and findings to a panel of judges with careers in the student’s field of research.
Devin Haney, 5th Grand Prize Health Sciences (Fair II) and $12,000 in Scholarships
Jocelyn Hernandez, 2nd place Best In Category Behavioral & Social and a Special award from American Psychological Association
Kevin Edwards and Paul Camacho, 1st place Team in Health Sciences (Fair II) and $100 from Air and Waste Management Association Alamo Chapter.
All Students will advance to the State ExxonMobil Science and Engineering Fair on March 29.
