Project X, Part II

According to ABC News, some teenagers in Houston had an idea to throw a party similar to the one in the movie Project X after watching it. When 600 people attended the party last Thursday, it got out of hand when someone shot at a kid and killed him; the suspect got away and the kid was sent to the hospital where he later died.

The damages in the Houston mansion are around $100,000. These young teenagers shouldn’t even have had seen this movie because it was rated R. Yet, I guess in this time we live in, it just doesn’t matter anymore. It’s just very sad to witness this. These teens didn’t know anyone would be killed over a renactment party or anyone would be hurt. Read more and watch the video here.

According to the law, you have to be 17 or older to watch this movie; its content is not for younger viewers. These kids snuck in and got the idea to “make a name for themselves” to become “popular.” Some people just crave attention or want someone to listen. I actually saw this movie and, in my opinion, it was okay. However, I don’t recommend this movie for young teens.

These people should have thought twice before taking what they saw into action. The teens from Houston knew the consequences, but they didn’t care about what might happen. They were just living in the moment.
