Reflecting On Columbine’s 13th Anniversary

This Friday marks the 13th anniversary of the Columbine High School Massacre, which took the lives of 12 students and a teacher on April 20, 1999. The two teenage gunmen committed suicide after their murderous rampage.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been so long. It seems as if this event took place just a short time ago. Although the wounded and the families of the dead continue to miss their loved ones and have vivid memories of that traumatic day, much healing and closure has come to them.

Classes are to be canceled at the High School in remembrance of those killed in the shootings at the school 13 years ago.
