Presidential Election Results in a Close-Vote Count

The Presidential Election is over and Barack Obama won the election and will be president for another four years.

Interestingly, our seniors were able to vote for the first time in the presidential race. Their votes counted and will affect of the future of the United States of America.

One senior voted Obama, because she joined the Navy, and felt he would support it.

“His plans for the future were very straight forward in my opinion,” Senior, Ilandra Elmi said.

Also President Obama’s plans for America will soon effect the lives of the youth generations that will soon arrive. Students just coming out of college will have more chance of employment.

“The most important thing we can do is to make sure that we are creating jobs in this country, but not just jobs, good paying jobs, the ones that can support a family,” President Obama said in the second presidential debate.

President Obama has created 5 million jobs and plans to bring back the manufacturing jobs. He also wants to makes sure we have a very high educations system that will affect the generations to come.

The end result of the elections shocked the Untied States. 50% of the United states voted for President Barack Obama. 60,865,191 voters voted for him. 48% of the United States voted for Mitt Romney. 57,949,012 voters voted for him.
