The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

is a long anticipated movie from filmmaker Peter Jackson who had also directed the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Hobbit was the first book written in the series by J.R.R Tolken making this film a prequel to the Fellowship of the Ring.

The Hobbit centers around a young hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who must journey with a group of drwarves to Lonely Mountain to get back a stolen treasure back from the dragon Smaug.

New faces along with old ones are featured in the film; Matin Freeman (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) is Bilbo Baggins and Richard Armitage (Captain America: The First Avenger) is Thorin Oakenshield. Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett and Christopher Lee are back to play Gandalf, Gollum, Elrond, Frodo, Galadriel and Saruman.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes out December 14.


Les Miserables

is a movie musical based off the book of the same name by Victor Hugo. Tom Hooper brings this musical to screen for the first time, audiences have long-awaited to see new faces to be their beloved characters.

Les Miserables is set in 19th-century France during the French Revolution, Jean Valjean who hunted by police officer Javert after he violates his parole. Jean Valjean then agrees to take care Fantine’s [a factory worker] daughter Cosette. Valjean must now run and protect Cosette from Javert.

This movies features an A-list cast of stars. Hugh Jackman (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is Jean Valjean. Russell Crow (Gladiator) is Javert. Anne Hathaway (Dark Knight Rises) plays Fantine. Amanda Seyfried (Mama Mia) plays Cosette. Sacha Baron Cohen (Bruno) and Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech) play Thenardier and Madame Thenardier.

is a biography film about the making of a Hitchcock Classic “Psycho”. Sacha Gervasi puts a new spin on this American Classic telling it from the director’s view-point. Gervasi hopes to have everyone to love it, Alfred Hicthcock fans and ones who are new to the classic horror films.

Hitchcock centers around legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock and wife Alma Revillie. And their love story during the filming of “Psycho”.

Hitchcock has some of Hollywoods best with Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) as Alfred Hitchcock, Helen Mirren (The Queen) as Alma Reville [Hitchcock’s Wife] and Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers) as Janet Leigh.

Hitchcock comes out December 7
