Hot Glue Glittery Snowflake Ornaments

Supplies needed:

Glue sticks

Hot glue gun

Wax paper

Dish detergent

Ornament template

Glitter

Mod Podge

Small paintbrush

String or wire

The first step to creating these ornaments is to print out a template you would like the shape of your snowflake to be, if you are going for a more unique look, you can skip this step.

For step two, place a sheet of wax paper over your template if you are using one. Mix a small amount of dish detergent and water, then evenly spread it over the wax paper. Next, trace your image with hot glue, using a continuous stream of even pressured hot glue.

For the third step, peel your dried snowflake off of the wax paper, making sure it is completely dry, cover your snowflake with a layer of Mod Podge, and then with glitter.

For the final step, hot glue the wire or string to the back of your snowflake in a loop, let it dry, and enjoy your new Christmas Ornament.
