The Hobbit an unexpected journey :Review

By Emilee Ramon

Making nearly 85 million and exploding the box office record for a december release, Peter Jackson’s, The Lord of the Rings series, is similar to this prequel.

It tells a tale of Frodo’s uncle, Bilbo Baggins (Marin Freeman). The wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) convinces Bilbo to join thirteen dwarves on a journey to retake their kingdom under the lonely mountain and reclaim its treasure from the powerful dragon, Smaug.

The dwarfs are led by Thorin Oakenshield, a fierce but often arrogant warrior prince (Richard Armitage), as they run into orcs, goblins, and other fantastic creatures.

I really enjoyed the adventurer in this movie, it was very exciting. I dont usually enjoy 3D movies but it made it feel like you were there on the adventure with Bilbo, but you can also watch this movie in regular 2D.

This movie was a great add on to the lord of the rings series. I give this movie a 7 out of 10.
