College Readiness Night Sept. 24

The Annual College Readiness Night is this month on Sept. 24, at 6:30 pm in the Robert E. Lee Auditorium.

The evening will provide parents and students with information about different college readiness programs offered at Lee High School.

This will include a general session that will provide information about the importance of the upcoming Pre-Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) and the National Merit Scholarship Program ®.

The general session will also include information about how students can earn college credit through the variety of dual credit classes offered at Lee.

Following the general session, we will offer three break-out sessions where you can get more information about the Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP)/Advanced Placement (AP) programs at Lee. You can choose from the following areas: English Pre-AP and AP, Math Pre-AP and AP, Social Studies Pre-AP and AP, Science Pre-AP, and Foreign Language.

An additional session we are offering this year is about the Kaplan on-line course that is available to all Lee High School students. In this session you can get more information about the course as well as how to complete the registration process.

At the end of the night, we will hold a session for all Gifted and Talented students, parents, and teachers in the auditorium.
