Mohamed Barrow hit a 3 pointer as time expired as the Lee Volunteers upset the Johnson Jaguars 66-64 at Littleton Gym on Wednesday night.
The Vols have won two-straight district games and are now 9-14 overall, but 2-3 in district. The Vols were led in scoring by Farah Yussuf with 15 points and Chris Adams had 14, who helped rally the Vols from a 37-32 deficit at halftime and take a late lead.
The Jaguars were led in scoring by Caleb Davis with 18 points, and put Johnson up 64-63 with 21.0 seconds to go.
With the game on the line, the Vols moved the ball around before Barrows 3 pointer beat the buzzer, giving the Vols a 66-64 win, and avenging a 63-14 loss in football to the Jaguars 2 months ago.
The Vols will host the Churchill Chargers on Friday night at Littleton Gymnasium.
