Lee Pals united with four other North East ISD high schools recently to benefit thousands of children in need. Churchill, Johnson, Lee, Reagan and Roosevelt took part in the TexasMobilePack, a five-day citywide service project that brought together 20,000 volunteers to pack 4,035,572 meals that will feed 11,056 starving children in need. More than 400 volunteers from all the schools traveled to the pack site at 5084 DeZavala.

“The support from Reagan, Johnson, Churchill, Lee and Roosevelt was truly overwhelming,” said Thomas Holmes, a Johnson High School student who also served as “Super Volunteer” for the service project. “It was a privilege to meet with principals and sponsors from the schools and get to know them on a personal level. They are an amazing group of people.”
