Creative Writers Are Set For Art Unplugged This Saturday

This Saturday, Dec. 13, the NESA Creative Writer’s will be having their annual Art Unplugged, a show of poetry, acoustic music, dance, and other performance art in the auditorium, from  7 to 9 p.m. A band of three ISA teachers, The New Deal will be the opening of the show. NESA Instrumental Music, Dance, and Musical Theater students will also be performing, aside the Creative Writer’s performing their poetry, excerpts from their stories and screenplays/scripts.

The admission is $10 at the door (to raise money for their developing Literary Magazine), and snacks and drinks will be sold in the lobby before the show, and during intermission.

“They [The New Deal] are largely acoustical, so I thought they were a good fit for our event,” Amy Stengel said.
