Lee Culinary Wins At St Phillip’s College Competition

Lee High School once again takes the cake at the St. Philip’s Culinary Invitational. Students earned half of the medals awarded Friday, March 27.

Culinary students Eunice Robledo and Enrico Sepulveda competed in the Mystery Basket part of the competition. Their beautiful pork plate earned a bronze medal.

In the cake competition, Jesse Ortiz earned a silver medal for his Cinderella cake and Melissa Valdez earned the bronze for her Aladdin cake. Justice Garcia also entered a Hansel and Gretel cake in the competition.

This is the second time this school year Ortiz and Valdez have earned medals at this competition. In October, Ortiz placed second and Valdez placed third in the cake competition.
