Journalism/Ready Writing

There will be a 30 computer lab (possibly more) set up for students to type at their own risk. Have the journalism teacher email me bslatt@neisd.net the number of spots they would like in the lab.  If you prefer to not use a computer, there will be space available for writing or plugs if you bring your own computer.

Ready Writing students may set up their computers and printers in the room beginning at 7:30. Bring Power cords.

Ready Writing and all journalism events will be graded by outside judges, however all coaches entering students in other events will be expected to help grade that event.

Award Presentations:

Trophies, medals, and ribbons will be awarded through tenth place in each event. Plaques will be awarded for first and second place teams in team events.  Meet sweepstakes trophies will be given to first, second, third, fourth and fifth place schools.

There will be a concession stand available with a hot food choice as well as snacks and drinks.

Please join us on March 4, 2017 for some great competition!
