Last night, MacArthur (7-1) took on New Braunfels (2-3) in their eighth non-district game of the season at Littleton Gym. The Brahmas stayed ahead throughout the match-up with a 33-26 lead at half. The quick paced game and rough fouling in the fourth quarter caused Forward Ben Lytle to go down with a bad ankle. He may not participate in the next week’s contests. The final score was Mac, 68-53. Leading scorers were from Guards Matt Gramling and Michael Flores with 22 and 16 points respectively. New Braunfel’s forward Kyle Hittle finished with 13 points.

MacArthur’s next several games will be held in the South San ISD Tournament this thursday December 2nd through Saturday December 4th. Site locations are at the Duyrbon Athletic Center, South San Antonio HS, Dwight MS and Zamora MS; Times areĀ TBA.
