Special Olympics Bowling

On November 1, Brunswick Country Lanes held the annual Special Olympics Bowling Competition for the elementary schools in NEISD.  The participants practiced their bowling skills throughout the month of October in order to excel during their competition. Students were distributed into groups of two to four per lane and bowled an estimated two games. Both the Mac and Lee PALs organizations participated in the event, assisting the kids whose disabilities were too severe to bowl by themselves and helping distribute awards after the competition. PALs, parents, teachers, and a few elementary school administrators came out at 9:30 in the morning to support their student athletes. At the end of the two games around 12:30 p.m., the students scores were accumulated by the PALs and ranked against the other participants in their lane. The day was full of laughter, hard work, and happiness for all.

The Special Olympics bowling tournament also hosted Mac bowlers on Wednesday, November 2

When i'm not acting or writing, I like to spend my time sewing. I love anything and everything having to do with skin care and beauty information, i hope to pursue a career in dermatology, if not fashion design. I'm usually very optimistic and am always up for conversation.
