A successful season was ended Feb. 4 as the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team closed off their 2012-2013 season with a 35-22 victory over Lee Monday night. The team ended with a 15-5 record which results in high hopes for next year and seasons to come.

The team was faced with many tough games this year and pulled out with some close victories. The strength and perseverance that the team displayed show the depth of the girls and their dedication to playing the game.

“I am very excited for them because of how well they played,” Coach Grams said. “They had a lot of tough games and in a lot of those games they pulled out a win.”

The coach of the JV team, Grams, believed that this season was beneficial to the girls in the future. The work ethic and skills that the girls learned this year will help them in their pursuit of making the varsity squad.

“It was really good for them to go onto the next level,” she said.
