Snoozeville at the Emmy’s

Interlaced with the audience’s laughs, roused by the comedic duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, tears, due to the ever so frequent and long tributes to stars that have passed this year, and sometimes a rowdy applause when an award-deserving show actually won. This is what the 2013 Emmy’s consisted of.

It’s no secret that this years Emmy’s were not a fan favorite. Shows, writers and actors got awards that some fans scoffed at, Jeff Daniels definitely did not have a huge support group, sighed at, Modern Family wins again? Shocker. Some even gawked and cackled when the winner of Outstanding Supporting Actoress in a Comedy series gave her acceptance speech of: “Thank you so much. I’ve gotta go…bye.”

Whether you agreed with the wins, laughed at the skits, or even cared about the tributes there are a few things the fans never argued with; Tina and Amy kept crowd awake and excited and Breaking Bad’s win was well deserved.
