“Before You Eat Pie, Apply” is an event to help seniors apply to college early, instead of waiting until the last minute.
“We thought of a “catchy” phrase and tied an incentive to it,” Mrs. Reyes, said.
In this case, the incentive is a slice of pie on Friday before the break to all seniors who have applied to college.
The event will be held on Fri., Nov 22. for the “seniors [that] have completed (they don’t have to be accepted) either a 2 or 4 year college application and provide proof to their counselor or English teacher,” Reyes said. “As their reward for applying early, seniors are provided with a coupon that can be redeemed during their lunch for a slice of pie.”
