Boys Crush Madison

A huge 6-1 defeat against Madison Fri. Feb. 21 is just what boys soccer needed to try to turn around their season. Although the team is second in district and has a positive record, the boys have not performed according to their preseason hopes.

“We needed this going into the Johnson and Churchill games,” Coach Simmons said.

The game was also Zengwei Tong’s, 11, first hat trick (3 goals) of the season.

“I feel like I can score now,” Tong said. “Because after the two PK’s (the penalty kicks he missed in Boerne Champion game) I felt like I could never score again, but now I can come back.”
